ORIENT EXPRESS

Whereas the campaign group derives from the expeditionary use of luxury furniture among the British military officer class in the 19th century, the orient express group is influenced in large part by the manner in which the Victorian aristocracy furnished their locomotives during the so-called “golden age of travel.” The orient express group, in other words, is the luxurious counterpart to the more utilitarian campaign group. As such, the group features the finest of P&B inputs: exotic leathers, chagrin, brass lamps, cocktail trunks, martini tables, drinks boxes, and bar cases.
