Indochine is the latest category to the P&B home furnishing themes. The origins represented the intermingling of Indian and Chinese influences. The peninsula south of Chin Which is now Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia was occupied by the French through the mid 1800’s. Later, the French continued its influence on Vietnam through the 1950’s which a fusion of cultures became. In essence Indochine style is a harmonious interference between nostalgic, traditional Asian design and modern and romantic French influence P & B would like to extend its colonial skill set to this era which is more luxurious and inspirational than in comparison to Dutch colonial style.
